Architect in the House 2013!

Planning Issues, Residential Development | April 13, 2013

Is there something you’d like to change about your home? From solving the (never-ending) problem of storage, to knocking down a wall or adding an extension – most of us have something we’d love to improve.

Knowing where to start can be tricky. But Architect in the House, brought to you by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Shelter, provides an exciting answer – and taking part is brilliantly easy.

Once you’ve registered you’ll be matched with a local RIBA, RIAS or RSUA chartered architect. They’ll arrange to visit you to discuss your project, and find the best way to solve your style, space or light dilemmas.

And if you feel like giving something back, you can make a donation to Shelter. £45 is the suggested amount – enough to help at least two homeless families find a home this year.

AUD Architects are supporting Architect in the House. To find out more about how the scheme works or to register go to the Architect in the House website.
